The Palace Of Turkish Nomads, Safranbolu

For a historical, architectural and cultural voyage, we set off visiting Safranbolu widely known as a key caravan station on the East- West trade route and home of our heritage delicious sweet ‘Lokum’ known as Turkish Delight. The traditional town carries the traces of Ottoman architecture like it could be seen in Cinci Han Caravansaray which has shops inside, and a historic Turkish bath Cinci Hamam. The rich historical collections and heritages that represent conventional Turkish life and culture earned Safranbolu an inclusion on the list of UNESCO World Heritage. In addition to this, with saffron fields known as the miracle plant, the UNESCO’s World Heritage List accepts Safranbolu as one of the ’20 Best Preserved Cities.
